A Ron Paul video game is in the works and politically aware hipsters everywhere are all the chatter.
Titled Road to Revolution, game developer Daniel Williams says it will be a “side-scrolling platformer action/adventure game, reminiscent of console classics like Super Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog.”
In the game, you play Ron Paul; a Libertarian turned Republican who is hell bent on becoming President of the United States and toppling the Federal Reserve. You go through all 50 states, collecting gold and delegates. You also fight 13 bosses — with 12 of them representing the 12 branches of the federal reserve — one of them being British economist John Maynard Keynes.
Although Williams reached his Kickstarter goal of $5,000 in a matter three days, he doesn’t quite know when the game will be released; he hopes to “deliver the beta to in mid-June, with an official release in July.”
