There has been a renewed interest in Sophy Rickett’s Pissing Women series as of late.. Created in 1995, Rickett’s radically redefined the idea of women in a civilized society and played with the notion of sexual misbehavior. The series can viewed as empowering on some levels but, overall, it contains a compelling satirical shock value that resonates with its audience.
