Spanish artist Bubi Canal recently debuted his solo show at Munch Gallery this past weekend. His second exhibition with the gallery, Magic Garden features all new photography and sculptures from Canal that further adds to his enchanting lexicon of colorful imagery and abstract cheer. It also included a captivating video installation.
Opening night saw a throng of supporters and curious passersby. The upbeat, and off beat, tone of the work had a positive impact on the gallery’s atmosphere. Canal, sporting a smart sweater and a warm smile, couldn’t be happier as he chatted with friends and intrigued attendees.
Magic Garden is on display at Munch Gallery until April 19th. You can also find an interview with Bubi Canal in Book No. 2!
