Rapper Big Boi invited everyone to experience his new album last night at Converse’s Rubber Tracks. Titled, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, the album is anticipated to be a stellar follow up to his previous effort, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.
After announcing in May 2012 that the album was 80% done, the Def Jam recording dropped the first single, “Mama Told Me” (Featuring Kelly Rowland), in early October. The album experienced a pushback earlier this month but after last night, fans are well aware of why they are being made to wait. Featuring acts like A$AP Rocky, T.I., Little Dragon and more, this album proves to be even better than the last.
Last night, Big Boi was in his zone, performing three songs off the album and letting the audience listen to a couple more–including the A$AP Rocky assisted “Lines”. At the end, Big Boi showed his appreciate to fans and everyone who came out to give the album a listen. Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is set to be released on December 11th 2012.
