Despite the occasional 85° day–a mere outlier–summer is officially done. We had a lot of fun this summer. The weather was hot, the politics were turbulent, and Quiet Lunch sought to provide a soundtrack to it all. Teaming up with The Lodge Gallery, we invited our readers out to experience an evening of eye catching art, sweet wine, and even sweeter tunes. To Witness a Mockingbird featured the lovely Kendra Morris signing cuts from her newest cover album Mockingbird whilst surrounded by Orlando Arocena’s Traversing the Vector. Festivities were hosted by the beautiful Louise Donegan and also included a chuckle worthy Q&A. After a few melodies and a few laughs, the night proved to be a soulful encounter worth committing to memory.

Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.

This is what NYCity people like to do. Hang out in galleries and ask questions. Look in on an evening with Kendra at NYC’s Lodge Gallery.
