For Ana Coto‘s Spilt Milk she splashed her seemingly unaware subjects with colorful milk. Spilt Milk, which captures portraits of contrast between that which is stable with that which is unstable, marries the unaffected to the reactive. But not every one of the LA photographer’s subjects pretended to ignore the milk, some of them were captured in some rather responsive poses. Responsive or not, each portrait has its own unique tone.
