Today is the last day to see PICTURES, a clever solo exhibition by painter Mackenzie Younger. In the exhibition, Younger examines the traditional fine art zeitgeist through a modern lens, appropriating a classic aesthetic and transmuting it into skillfull cultural satire. But this exhibition isn’t all smirks and giggles, it also seeks to educate its audience on certain aspects of art history.
PICTURES is on display at A+E Studios located at 160 West Broadway.
Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
