If you’re looking for raw artistry, Munch Gallery is a desired destination. Curated by Frodo Mikkelsen, PAPER features the works of 20 Danish artists who were all given a challenge: use only black ink/pencil and the work has to be on paper. The artists, 10 women and 10 men, were up for the challenge and executed quite wonderfully.
Quiet Lunch stopped by for the opening reception. We got the chance to speak to curator Frodo Mikkelsen and we also had artist Kaspar Bonnén explain his piece, “Spotlight.” PAPER will be on display at Munch Gallery until February 2nd.
Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
