The issue No. 5 launch party at the Box last weekend was huge. Cover artist Neil Grayson was toasted by the editors, Beccs moved the audience with her signature velvet voice and Dice Soho’s rap performance brought the crowd into the rest of the night. The line was out the door and the party went well after the scheduled cut-off time. Copies of the latest edition floated around the main floor and throughout the mezzanine and VIP section overlooking the stage. We were glad to make the formal announcement at the party of founder Akeem Duncan’s transition to Editor at Large, John Gosslee’s new position as Editor-in-Chief and Bim Afolabi’s new role as CEO of the Quiet Lunch. Check out the photos below. Book N°5 is available online, Barnes & Noble, and various boutique bookstores!
Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
