Love Legos? Who doesn’t? Those tiny plastic building blocks can actually be useful. Thanks to Kai Mueller in Germany, you can renovate your DJ system, Lego style! Uploaded on the Style Spy website, Mueller provides DIY step-by-step instructions and pictures to create a completely functional DJ Booth made almost entirely out of Legos.

The main ingredients are a block of wood, threaded rods, nuts, washers, anchor sleeves, mortar, wood screws and about 1,400 Lego pieces. The cost comes in at around 525 USD. You’re also encouraged to dig out the box in your mother’s basement and reuse the Legos you might already have.

The process involves building a wooden container that comes out of the wall with enough room for your turntable. The real design comes at the end as multi-colored Legos fill the sides of the wood to make a dazzling design based on your own personal preference.

Kai Mueller doesn’t stop there. Her blog Style Spy offers loads of stunning furniture and architectural designs that use anything from old skateboards, records, tapes, wood chips and other recycled products. She even offers a sofa that functions like a backpack. Mueller currently lives and works in Berlin as a freelance photographer.  If you’re interested in bold new ideas for your home, look no further.  Interior Design may never be the same again.
