Caged Animals just dropped a new single. Titled, “Cindy + Me”, the spunky, noisy tune will be available on June 17th and will also be found on his forthcoming LP due out this year. Possessing an “pop-awkwardness” that is only rivaled by Darwin Deez, animal jazz purveyor and Caged Animals frontman, Vincent Cacchione, explained the premise of the song to Stereogum:
“In the song, I’m a crazed teenager in love, running away from home with the girl and some twisted view of the future. We’ve got her father tied up in the house, a smoldering corpse, we’ve got the cash, “We’re living on top of the world,” and we’re going to get away with it.”
