Coming very close to being the 8th Wonder of World, the Monte-Meubles – L’ultime Déménagement, 2012 (The Furniture Lift – The Ultimate Moving Out, 2012) featured at Le Voyage à Nantes 2012 is nothing short of amazing. Created by Leandro Erlich, the sculpture, a section of housing that appeared be ripped from the building it was a part of, is suspended in midair with a ladder connecting to the ground below. Is the ladder holding it up? Are there spiderweb thin cable holding it in place? We’ve pondering the possibilities all day.
