The new kids on the block, The Lodge is a sleek, but friendly gallery tucked away on the fringes of Chinatown at 131 Chrystie Street. Barely a month old, The Lodge launched its Artist Salon series amidst their inaugural exhibit, Die Wunderkammer; Objects of Virtue, on Thursday. The talk was wonderful, but the art–especially centerstage pieces by Dennis McNett and Kate Clark–was eye catching to say the least.

Curated by Jason Patrick Voegele and Keith Schweitzer, Die Wunderkammer; Objects of Virtue is a fairly eclectic collection of pieces from various artists including Paul Brainard, who we had the privilege of speaking to after he participated in the artist parlor with Hayley McCulloch. Die Wunderkammer; Objects of Virtue will be on display The Lodge through May 1st, 2013.

Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
