Don’t be deceived by its outside appearance–Biggercode is more than its upstairs boutique. Last Thursday, the downstairs half of the space opened its inaugural show “close, but not touching,” a group show curated with the intent to invoke a non-nostalgic past in dialogue with the present day. Whimsical works hang across from more solemn ones, all surrounding piers topped with vases sporting markered fauna. The work and the turn-out put newcomer Biggercode on our list of places to watch this upcoming season.
