Cardboard Casualties.

Nothing makes a gun more vulnerable than resurrecting it with material that is considered relatively harmless. Cardboard artist, Asif Farooq, executes this concept wonderfully with his series of cardboard firearms. Without using any measurement of any kind, Farooq managed to eek out every detail–stopping short of actual function. Ironically, Farooq is not trying to make a statement:

“No, I don’t talk about politics because I do not feel I have much to contribute. I’m not a lawmaker, it would be preposterous for me to tell other people what is ‘right’ or ‘wrong.’ The independence that I value I respect in others, even if they do not respect mine.”
