Finally, after much Art Basel hubbub, we decided to end our year with the peak of one of our most cherished experiences. As you may already know, Quiet Lunch almost forwent the option to attend Art Basel before we were invited by Benetton to check out their collaboration with FABRICA. Given the opportunity to speak to designers David Raffoul and Charlotte Juillard, we swung by the revamped–and newly named–BENETTON.South Beach with Jamieson Hill for an inside look at their new customized make over, “Tables in Wonderland” and the “Tutti Frutti” project.
Opting for a more vibrant look, BENETTON. South Beach employed the genius of FABRICA to outfit its location with accents that are quite true the store’s Miami roots. Outside, costumers are greeted by “Tables in Wonderland”, a geometrically surreal arrangement of outdoor furniture. Inside, patrons can marvel at “Tutti Frutti”, an intriguing collection of glassware.
On display since early December, BENETTON. South Beach will be showing off their new pop-shop decorum until December 31st.
Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
