“The Sweetest Thang is one of my favorite paintings that I have produced. The mask used in this image is a Baule Mask of the Akan People from Cote I’vorie.  I am often careful to make sure I use mask made in West African Countries.  These mask are made to resemble some of the most beautiful women of the village.  I combined the two to come up with an image that I felt reminded me of the Sweetest things in life.”
