Taking place in the city of Toronto, Living Sections is an ongoing series by Paul Kawai that focuses the architectural progress of a densely populated city. Capturing the imprints of demolished houses, Living Sections visualization of a lasting impression.

“When a building comes down in a dense city, what usually remains is a sort of tattoo or scar on the remaining surrounding structures. I have heard these referred to as “Living Sections”, wherein you are left with a fragmented sectional view of the former building attached to another.”
