[su_dropcap style=”flat” size=”4″]I[/su_dropcap]t was a hot and humid day in Brooklyn but that didn’t stop folks from gathering at Betsy Head Memorial Playground for the Duck Down 20-Year Anniversary BBQ presented by SummerStage.
The evening kicked off with some lively performances by Raz Fresco and Chelsea Reject. Then PRO ERA generals CJ FLY and Kirk Knight took turns cooking the stage before the Gray Hulk, more popularly known as Sean Price, demolished the set with a little help from his adorable daughter and Rock of Heltah Skeltah. We spotted Hot 97’s own Peter Rosenberg making the rounds and chopping it up. Festivities then culminated with performances by Buckshot, Smif n’ Wesson and Brooklyn newcomer Young M.A.—and did we mention Statik Selektah and Mr. Green on the 1’s and 2’s?
