Last week we saw the celebration of one of Italy’s most charming regions, Umbria. Umbria, the only landlocked region in Italy, is home to a wide array of eateries, wineries, spas, and a bevy of historical architecture. At the center of this celebration was the debut of the FREE Umbria Food and Wine App™, a brilliant app that unites the delights of Umbria all under one technological roof.
Truly embodying the culinary essence and experience of the Green Heart of Italy, the Umbria Food and Wine App™ is one of 19 apps that highlight everything from cycling and museums to wine and recipes in Umbria. We wanted to learn more about this wonderful project, so our correspondent, Jamieson Hill, headed to Discovering Umbria at Eataly in the Flatiron District where he spoke with Roberta Marini about Umbria Food and Wine, also known as Umbria Enogastronomia™.
We also witnessed a great demonstration by wine consultant Jacopo Cossater, and received a crash course in Umbria’s wine culture from the Vice President of MTV Umbria, Sara Goretti. Be sure to download the FREE Umbria Food and Wine App™ today!

Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
