Photographer Daniel Shipp is no stranger to smooth sailing. Okay, that pun was uncalled for. But Shipp’s execution is so flawless and fluid that you can’t help let a few cliches phrases slip through when describing it.

Shipp’s style is mint. There are no flaws in his world, only delicious, candy coated perfection. Even the most erratically detailed subject is rendered clean under his microscope. He doesn’t hide these flaws–that would be a lie–he enhances them to a point of impeccability. Everything is alive, sharp, and on its toes.
