Nearing the last week of his New York City residency, Banksy recently applied his most somber piece yet at Hustler Club in Hell’s Kitchen. Banksy depiction of a strange man patiently waiting for his date appears to be just another lonely chap. But once you read the caption, “Waiting in vain…at the door of the club,” the message becomes apparent and all too clear.
It’s day 24 , and after taking a day off due to the fuzz, we’re happy to see Banksy making up for lost time.
