New York Fashion Week has been full of surprises but the greatest surprise of all is The Almighty 7 Pop Up at wallplay’s Blank Shop. Spearheaded by acclaimed painter Jay West, Almighty 7 Apparel features a limited edition roster of athletic designs that channel the virtues of spiritually and philosophical camaraderie.

West was all smiles for the launch, personally greeting eager shoppers and even spending some time behind the counter completing purchases. He also received some special visits from rapper A$AP Ferg, Marty Baller, photographer Phil V., French dancing duo Les Twins and many others.

Things culminated with a closing reception at wallplay hosted by Eastmen Collective. The reception included works by West and Almighty 7 creative director David Barnett. Originally installed for a February 9-16 run, the pop up has been extended for another week due to overwhelming popularity. Be sure to stop by wallplay (118 Orchard Street) before the fashion well runs dry!
