Just in case you were trapped underneath rock for 127 hours, SZA, the newly crowned first lady of TDE, dropped visuals for her single, “Teen Spirit”. Directed by SZA herself and APLUSFILMZ (Fredo Tovar & Scott Fleishman), the video is a gloomy affair. SZA goes from being stoically perched on top of a bookcase to menacingly aiming a toy gun from an empty tub–and it would all seem odd if it wasn’t so fucking awesome. We’ve always expected great things from SZA and with stellar efforts like “Teen Spirit,” the Jersey native has easily exceeded those expectations.
