Faintly reminiscent of last week’s feature on artist Kathryn Mcnaughton, New York illustrator Sarah Rosado‘s work is like chewing a piece of bubblegum laced with MDNA. Bright and cheeky, Rosado’s illustrations play on the contradiction of being playful and racy, making for one devilishly sweet visual treat.
Rosado’s techniques are clean and very much in the vein of pop art. Not all glitz and candy, Rosado also knows when to get a little dark… and quirky. You may recognize the unicorn lady in the piece below.
