Mocking Changes. | Poems written by Francesca Castaño.

In The Menu by Quiet Lunch

There’s no pastime
like the use of dimensions
in our attempt to make life real;
this strange duality between
time-space existence
somehow incommunicable

But there are days
when the landscape
gets blurry and a curtain drops
holding alone a bilateral
symmetry occupying the mind
and it’s many starvations.

Not every struggle is a goal
and thus, it’s difficult to be certain
of the right course of action
however transitory the heartache
and all the metaphysical psychologies
with which one tries to console the self.
