We checked in on Merijn Hos and discovered some new work. Hos recently collaborated with Jawbone for their Up X Art project. Up X Art is a joint effort between data scientists, storytellers and artists. Up is a system developed by Jawbone and it uses data collection to help you understand how you eat, move, and sleep.
Hos employed the animation skills of his brother Jurriaan to produce a series of shorts interpret data about the user’s workout habits. He also worked with writer and sports executive Casey Wasserman.
