Mana Morimoto creates some whimsical pieces that skillfully integrate embroidery and photography. Morimoto’s embroidery is delicate but assertive. Unlike most mixed media embroidery, her work falls into this off putting, but brilliant, idiopathic realm that is populated by odd ball patterns and creepy photograph selections. We love it.
