In collaboration with Julius von Bismarck, Julian Charrière, created a project that involves dying 35 pigeons in the city of Copenhagen. Titled Some Pigeons Are More Equal Than Others, a special “pigeon apparatus” was built just for the occasion. Here’s how it works: the machine works as a bird trap with a conveyor belt mechanism, the pigeon wanders inside the machine automatically gets airbrushed in different colors. The “pigeon apparatus” was installed on a roof for a week in Copenhagen and for two weeks on a roof in Venice during the 13th Architecture Biennale.
