Pro Era general Joey Bada$$ just dropped visuals for the Summer Knights single “Hilary Swank”. Directed by Alex Lill, the video contains a slightly abstract touch–something we haven’t seen a lot of in Joey’s past vids. Bookended by rare footage of both Joey and the late, great KING CAPITAL STEEZ, the video also features an honest, pre-“Control” Kendrick Lamar admitting in a past interview that he was currently listening to Joey Bada$$. The spliced in footage was a not so subtle jab at Lamar who crowned himself K.O.N.Y. (King of New York) on Big Sean’s song, “Control”.
A special vinyl edition of Summer Knights is set to be released on October 29th.
