[su_dropcap style=”flat” size=”4″]A[/su_dropcap]s cliche as it may sound, LeRone B. Wilson has spent almost his entire career minding his own beeswax—literally. When you first look at Wilson’s work, your mind automatically begins to wonder: “What is this made of?”
Wilson, who has been working with beeswax for close to 21 years, welcomes the intrigue and is more than willing to explain the meaning behind its use. For him, it all starts with the bee and the concept of interconnectedness. The bee, traveling from flower to flower, takes a little bit from every destination of its travel to make something sweet. It is a process parallel to the process of creativity and, most of all, the human condition.
You can find LeRone B. Wilson’s work at FLUX Fair at Location 112.
