London based artist Ellannah Sadkin recently debut TOONOLOGY at The Pivot Gallery in Chelsea. Curated by Lori Zimmer, this is Sadkin’s first solo exhibition and Quiet Lunch had the privilege of hosting a special preview last week. Sadkin wowed the audience with her brilliant line work, vivid color palette and pop oriented subject matter. All smiles, Sadkin had this to say about her inaugural solo effort, a career milestone:
“I’ve been waiting what feels like years to do my solo show, so to have finally have done that I feel relieved and excited about what the future holds.”
– Ellannah Sadkin
TOONOLOGY is currently on display at The Pivot Gallery (530 West 25th Street | Suite 407). Be sure to stop by! In the meantime, check out some of the moments from our special preview night. Special thanks to Iron Smoke Whiskey and Red Jacket Orchards who provided our thirsty attendees with delicious libations.
Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
