Odd coupling is an interesting motif. It presents a clashing of nuances; a face off, if you will. There is surely some appeal in having a uniform theme, but artists, Kristian Evju, understand the value of quirk. Evju’s series, Conversations in Limbo, is a collective of pairs that don’t quite belong together–seemingly odd couples that put Tony Randall and Jack Klugman to shame.
