A self-described “independent artist” and “dependent human,” Jim LePage once again uses his creative vision to reinterpret one of Christianity’s defining moments. LePage offers his insight on Blessed Death:
A series based exploring the biblical sense of being “blessed.” Modern American culture ties blessing to wealth and material possessions, but in the Beatitudes, Jesus instead tied it to those who were poor, meek, merciful and were bringers of peace. You might even say that “blessed” looks like being tortured, ridiculed and crucified while loving those who are doing those things to you.
