As you may already know, we’re down for anything Instagram related–even it’s malaria. Hailing all the way from London, designer Benjamin Redford has developed “Projecteo”, a tiny projector that uses wheels of 35mm slide film to showcase instagram images.
Similar to classic View-Master toy, Projecto uses a special wheel roll to access these photos:
“Through an iterative process, we optimized the focal length of the lenses and added a focusing mechanism. We looked for the most powerful LEDs we could find, made the batteries replaceable and figured out the perfect ratio of images per wheel.”
