MUSIC REVIEW. | MUSIC FOR MOBILE ELECTRIC GUITARS | TILTED AXES.

In Audiorotic by Niki Gatewood

Sans superfluous words the instrumentation does all the talking. With Music For Mobile Electric Guitars, Tilted Axes speaks fluent guitar. The fluid endeavor promotes artistry and refuses to hide behind useless verbage.

Reaping the fruition of an intentional dream, Patrick Grant’s original music is performed by hoards of skilled musicians. Yes, actual amps are strapped onto the performers as they deliver art through mobile amps. North and South America, along with Europe have boasted different sects of Tilted Axes.

Throughout MFMEG a cultivated creativity is shown. “Circulation in G Maybe” could be used to score a Hitchcock film.  While “Kneadle Variations,” proves that a hint of ’70’s funk rightly enlivens any project. Both “Beaubien Blues,” and “The Sound of Burning Chairs” conjure up a classic Rock feel.

Within the Post-Progressive Rock, on Music For Mobile Electric Guitars, any guitar aficionado can discover something in which to delight.
