If you are into textiles and woven works, we suggest that you stop by Susan Inglett Gallery for Grand Embrace, an exhibition by Myranda Gillies and Grandpa George Herms. Myranda Gillies is the granddaughter of Herms, making the exhibition a family affair. Along with a warm familial motif, we find that creative upcycling runs in the family as both Gillies and Herms use “found objects” to produce pieces that are odes to a contemporary American life.

Quiet Lunch is a grassroot online publication that seeks to promote various aspects of life and culture with a loving, but brute, educational tinge. When we say, “Creative Sustenance Daily,” we mean it.
